First, let me thank you for stopping by Jason Jackson Live.  It's my goal to build a fun, interactive place for you to follow or stop by from time to time to see where this music journey is taking my friends and I in the industry.  Whether you are in need of a DJ or looking for "LIVE Music" for a wedding or event, we can help you BOOK it or FIND it.

I have been fortunate enough to have made music a career.  Starting with a small DJ service in my hometown of Erwin NC and then in Wilmington NC.  I arrived in Wilmington during a time when it was becoming one of the most popular wedding / event destinations on the East Coast.  The DJ world has been very good to me and given me wonderful opportunities.  

Around 2009 I decided to pick up my guitar that had been sitting in a case for years and started playing.  Not well I might add!  I owned a bar at the time. Another bar owner friend, Danny, and I started jammin’ a few nights a week with our friends Chris, Bill, and Mike.  The next thing you know, we had a band called EastBound.  Without all the boring band stories, after about a year of bar gigs and running into the right people, we got lucky and were asked to play the back bar at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach for an entire summer.  That led to lots festival and private bookings all around Myrtle Beach and the Southeast.  Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some amazing guys and girls who have taught me a tremendous amount about the business on and off the stage.  

Jason Jackson Live is more than a place to follow or book me.  It's where I hope to keep exploring this crazy music life and introduce folks in need of music to music in need of a place to play.
